Alessandra Andrini, born in Ravenna and residing in Bologna, is an artist and a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara and the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Her artistic work, since the late ’90s, has consistently displayed a strong connection with the public dimension.
Her exhibition journey began in 1997 in the spaces of Bologna Station and gained its first international recognition with East International 2000 in Norwich, UK.
This was followed by her candidacy for the P.S.1 International Studio Program in 2001, continuing on a dual path between art-dedicated spaces and projects carried out in urban and natural contexts.
