John Baldessari, born in 1931 in National City, California, was a celebrated artist with a profound influence across a spectrum of artistic mediums.
His artistic legacy is underscored by over 300 solo exhibitions and 1000 group exhibitions held in both the U.S. and Europe. Baldessari’s creative portfolio was remarkably diverse, comprising unique works, prints, artist books, videos, films, billboards, and public installations.
Art publisher Beyer Projects, hired us to assist on two projects which occurred in 2013 and 2018. Our collaboration with Beyer Projects resulted in the creation of two notable works by Baldessari: “Camel (Albino) Contemplating Needle (Large)” and “Penguin”.
The artist passed away in 2020, leaving behind a rich and influential body of work.
