We met Claes Oldenburg and Coosje Van Bruggen in 1999 during their project “Needle, Thread and Knot”.

It was our first artistic project, but Sergio Angelino’s experience already exceeded twenty years. The know-how developed in the modeling world allowed us to embark on an entirely new type of work.

Initially, we were supposed to create only the scale model, but it turned out that we ended up producing the final artwork.

And that was just the beginning. A collaboration was born that lasted more than ten years, resulting in the creation of other works such as “Dropped Flower” and “Tumbling Tacks”.
