Brett Crawford’s “S3lf Made” is a striking contemporary take on the classic tale of a wood boy. Inspired by the artist’s original painting, this 11.5-inch vinyl sculpture celebrates resourcefulness, street culture, and the core value of self-determination.

Unlike the traditional character who waits on magic or a creator to bring him to life, Crawford’s protagonist is the sole architect of his own destiny: a modern soul captured in the final stages of carving himself out of a tree trunk. Defined by a signature urban style (from the backward cap to the fresh sneakers), the piece seamlessly blends Pop Surrealism with a powerful DIY spirit. Visually magnetic and deeply conceptual, it makes a standout addition to any urban art collection.
