Gucci Christmas Display 2020

During the pre-Christmas period of 2020, we undertook an unusual project: a small-scale serial production that, in total, led us to print thousands of pieces. For their worldwide Christmas displays, the production comprised two types of fish – a rainbow fish and a carp – each in three variations, accompanied by small water lilies to adorn carousel-shaped showcases. The fish numbered in the hundreds, and the water lilies amounted to thousands, with each individual piece meticulously hand-painted. Given the tight deadlines and the extensive production, a significant organizational effort was required, but it proved to be rewarding in the end.
