Angelino Artworks, Fidia and Galleria Robertaebasta sign one of the most memorable events of Fuorisalone 2026 with Still 1492 | Never Ending Story
Milan, April 26, 2026 – The participation of Angelino Artworks at Fuorisalone 2026 was met with extraordinary success, transforming the prestigious headquarters of Galleria Robertaebasta into a true hub for cultural, artistic and entrepreneurial dialogue from April 20 to 26.
Taking centre stage throughout the event was the official presentation of Still 1492 | Never Ending Story, the new monumental artwork making its world premiere, created through the collaboration between Angelino Artworks and artist Fidia. The work, a totem of powerful visual and symbolic impact, explores the unresolved conflict between contemporary consumerism and the values of tradition, while delivering a profound statement on the historical violations of the rights of Native American peoples.
The artwork draws inspiration from Ashley Callingbull – internationally renowned model, activist and leading voice for First Nations communities – whose presence further enriched the cultural and social significance of the project, amplifying its universal message of awareness, memory and respect.
Throughout the week, Galleria Robertaebasta – an international benchmark for historical and contemporary design – hosted talks, meetings and in-depth discussions featuring prominent figures from the worlds of art, design and entrepreneurship. Among the key participants were artist Fidia, Ashley Callingbull, Roberta Tagliavini and Mattia Martinelli, alongside the initiative’s main sponsors: FIM – Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi, Rimani and Alberti Olivero Design, represented directly by their owners, marketing managers and artistic directors.
Beyond the talks, the most significant moments took place during the apéritif dînatoire held on Wednesday, April 22, which welcomed over 1000 guests, as well as during the exclusive dinner on Friday evening attended by 200 selected participants. These two special occasions further strengthened the relational and institutional value of the entire project.
Particularly noteworthy was the dialogue among the main Partners, highlighting the strategic importance of collaboration between Italian excellences united by a shared vision: enhancing outstanding craftsmanship through projects capable of bringing together art, design, business and culture.
This synergy also gave rise to a true “project within the project” entitled De/Sign, conceived as a contemporary manifesto of dialogue between seemingly distant yet deeply connected worlds such as yachting, luxury leather goods and lighting design.
Within this specific creative and applicative context, Rimani’s contribution proved fundamental. Through its research on light, the company successfully translated the conceptual depth of Still 1492 | Never Ending Story into a visual language, amplifying its emotional dimension while enhancing its scenic and narrative impact.
The Fuorisalone event signed by Angelino Artworks, Fidia and Galleria Robertaebasta thus confirms itself not only as an event of great prestige and appeal, but also as one of the most significant highlights within the broader framework of the Salone del Mobile Milano 2026.
An immersive, cultural and visionary experience destined to be remembered as a true must-attend event of this edition, capable of leaving a lasting mark on the international landscape of contemporary art and design.
