From October 28 to November 11, 2025, the Turin headquarters of Wannenes will host the exhibition L3TO WAS HERE + INTROSP3CT, a project born from the collaboration between the auction house and Angelino Artworks to celebrate Turin Contemporary Art Week.
The initiative presents a dialogue between collecting, material and innovation, through three works by American artist Brett Crawford: L3TO WAS HERE – created in collaboration with Angelino Artworks and presented to the public for the first time, following its recent unveiling in the Principality of Monaco – and two chromatic versions of INTROSP3CT, a work produced in 2021 by the Piedmontese workshop and published by Beyer Projects.
The project, the result of a shared vision, combines the long-standing expertise of Wannenes – a leading figure in the Italian collecting scene for over twenty years – with the technological and artistic research of Angelino Artworks, a studio that explores new languages through art, design and digital manufacturing.
“Opening up to the contemporary means recognizing the continuity of art history, in which innovation is part of tradition itself”, say Guido Vitali and Pier Matteo Carnaroli, heads of the Modern and Contemporary Art Department at Wannenes.
Brett Crawford’s works, at the core of this collaboration, interpret matter as a tool for reflection and art as a shared experience, perfectly aligned with the spirit of Turin Art Week.
With this exhibition, Wannenes and Angelino Artworks reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting new forms of dialogue between art, technology and collecting, offering the public a meeting point between tradition and contemporaneity.
